KF291 Scallop Magnetic Clasp with 3 loops suitable for kumihimo, bead crochet, bead weaving, designed by Kim Fox in bronze and silver

Scallop magnetic clasp in bronze or sterling silver. Can be used for multiple or single strand pieces. Not recommended for those with pace makers as it uses powerful rare earth magnets to secure it.

The clasp is 1 inch by 1 inch or 25 mm by 25 mm and is 1/3 inch or 8 mm high. It is lost wax cast and hand finished in solid sterling silver or golden bronze.

The magnet on the upper half is sized so that it sits inside the setting for the lower magnet which makes a more secure clasp. The loops for connection are hidden between the two halves so that 1, 2, 3 or more connections can be made easily.

I think this clasp would work well with pearls, coral, gemstone beads, beading methods such as crochet, peyote, ndbele would work wonderfully. The loops are large enough for chain mail or wire wrapping. It is a highly diversified clasp.
